Rachael Weir, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Rachael is deeply invested in providing a comfortable and collaborative space in which individuals feel validated, valued, and safe. Rachael believes all individuals have unique strengths and utilizes a person-centered and strengths-based approach to empower patients to recognize these strengths. Rachael offers clients support and empathy as they navigate difficult emotions, address barriers, develop skills, build strengths, overcome challenges, and make changes in their lives.
Rachael has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults that are struggling with anxiety, depression, general adjustments, eating disorders, relationship concerns, and interpersonal difficulties. In working with clients, Rachael leverages tools and techniques from a variety of approaches, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, depending on clients’ unique needs and presenting concerns.
In recognizing that each individual is the expert of their own life, Rachael believes her role as a Therapist is to walk alongside clients and provide them with support as they identify, take steps towards, and reach their own individualized goals.
