Register Now: FOUR New Groups Kick-Off Next Week, September 13!
Our trauma-informed treatment is modeled to create a restorative environment conducive to safety, recovery, change, and holistic health. We believe that reparative, trusted, and nurturing social relationships are missing from the fabric of many of our clients lives and recovery journeys, and we aim to co-create settings that facilitate them, from the top down, to the bottom up. Because we are social creatures and WE RECOVER TOGETHER, we encourage all LIFT clients to participate in one regularly occurring therapist-led peer support group. We see our office suite at Richards House in Westport as a meeting-place where fellowship, camaraderie, psychoeducation, and social support can take place. To ensure that clients become a part of the LIFT community of support, and to guarantee cohesiveness of care, we ask our new clients to begin their treatment program by registering for a 7 week psychoeducation and social support series with us. This can be attended virtually or in person. We hope that the therapeutic relationships fostered in group are a safe harbor, an agent of change, and a lasting legacy that provides support and accountability long after your time with us as a client is over.
All Groupwork is available in virtual and in-person (Westport campus) formats, are one hour of time, and are facilitated by licensed LIFT therapists.
